Wonderfully fun car! 128K miles. 5 speed with newer clutch. Pirelli tires with lots of tread left. Runs great, body is in good condition. Interior is fair (some tears in seat, stains in carpet). Moon-roof pops up or can be removed completely. Car is entirely stock except the stereo (single CD), the rear sway bar (upgraded from a 1989 944 S2), and the wheels (16X7 and 16X8). The 944 boasts a nearly 50/50 weight distribution! Handling is excellent, right down to the manual steering rack. Despite being made of galvanized steel, this car somehow managed a small rust spot in front of the driver's side rear wheel (see pic below). The A/C has not worked since I've owned the car (12/2001). I enjoyed this car primarily for autocross (I'm an active Porsche Club of America member) and fair-weather-weekend drives. I drove it about 500 miles in the last year. The rest of the time, it has enjoyed a cozy spot in my garage. You WILL NOT find more fun in a car for this price!!!
